In my roles as Head of Healthcare and Health and Justice Lead Nurse I spent a considerable amount of time in Coroner’s court participating in inquests. I saw first-hand what a difficult experience this can be for all involved, both staff and families. This is only made worse when all parties are aware that if things had been done differently the outcome may have been different. This is why I am passionate about the work the London Learning Hub is doing to try and make the small changes that can make a huge difference to individuals.
